We had a great weekend at the Framas Youth Cup at the First Golf Club Westpfalz, where part of our National Team competed against a strong international field.

As always, the course was presented in outstanding condition, and it was a pleasure to catch up with so many familiar faces throughout the event. A big thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone involved for another fantastic tournament!

🏆 Our results:
• Ralfs Sokolovs finished 3rd in the Boys U12 category with rounds of 90, 90, 87.
• Greta Grohs claimed the Girls U14 title with impressive rounds of 79, 77, 82, also finishing T7 in the Women’s Overall Ranking.
• Maxime Morn won the Boys U16 category with excellent rounds of 71, 74, 71, securing 5th place in the Men’s Overall Ranking.
• Raphaelle Diederich-Saar finished 20th in the Women’s Overall Ranking.
• Daniel Morn placed 55th in the Men’s Overall Ranking.

Les European Young Masters 2026, disputés au Parador de El Saler (Espagne), ont une nouvelle fois réuni les meilleurs jeunes golfeurs européens de moins de 16 ans. Cette compétition de référence a offert aux participants une excellente occasion de se mesurer à l’élite continentale et d’acquérir une expérience précieuse au plus haut niveau.

Le Luxembourg s’est présenté avec l’une des équipes les plus jeunes du tournoi. L’objectif principal n’était pas uniquement le résultat, mais avant tout de permettre aux joueurs d’accumuler de l’expérience face à une concurrence particulièrement relevée et de poursuivre leur progression.

L’équipe luxembourgeoise était composée de Greta Grohs, Daniel Morn et Oliver Vajdic, qui ont défendu les couleurs du Grand-Duché avec beaucoup d’engagement, de détermination et un excellent état d’esprit tout au long des trois journées de compétition.

Malgré un niveau de jeu extrêmement élevé, les jeunes Luxembourgeois ont su tirer de nombreux enseignements de cette expérience internationale. Chaque parcours a permis de gagner en confiance, de mieux appréhender les exigences du très haut niveau et de préparer les prochaines échéances.

Au-delà des résultats, cette participation représente une étape importante dans le développement de ces jeunes talents. En affrontant les meilleures nations européennes, ils ont acquis une expérience qui leur sera précieuse pour la suite de leur parcours sportif

Today we had the opening ceremony of the European Young Masters, and after two practice rounds, we’re excited and ready for the tournament to begin tomorrow.
