✅More Women in Sport hashtag is ON!

The COVID-19 pandemic means that many of us are staying at home and doing less in terms of social interactions and exercise. This can have a negative effect on your physical and mental health. In order to avoid it, here you can see three basic advices to keep your body happy and healthy 💪

1️⃣ Just taking a short break from sitting, by doing 3-4 minutes of light intensity physical movement, such as walking or stretching, will help ease your muscles and improve blood circulation and muscle activity.

2️⃣ Your brain is strongly influenced by hydration status. Water helps dissolve vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients from your food. It then delivers these vitamin components to the rest of your body for use. Plus, drinking more water while dieting and exercising may just help you lose extra pounds.

3️⃣ While no foods or dietary supplements can prevent or cure COVID-19 infection, healthy diets are important for supporting immune systems. Good nutrition can also reduce the likelihood of developing other health problems, including obesity, heart disease, diabetes and some types of cancer.

Sport has the power to change lives. Women in sport defy gender stereotypes and social norms, make inspiring role models, and show men and women as equals!

The name of the countries can be changed but our goal is to encourage more women to actively take part in spor field!

Sport is one of the most powerful platforms for promoting gender equality. Women first took part in the Olympic Games Paris in 1900 with %2,2. That was the first step of the gender equality in elite level sports. Today we are ready for the new record participation. Tokyo 2020 is predicted to be the most gender equal yet with female participation of 48.8% expected.
