As part of our preparations for the upcoming season, Downtown Football Club will hold an important meeting tomorrow with all returning players and members of the technical staff.

The meeting will outline the club’s objectives, expectations, and plans for the new season. It will also serve as an opportunity for everyone to begin the campaign on the same page.

During the meeting, the Club President will officially introduce the new Head Coach to the players and technical staff as Downtown FC embarks on a new chapter.

Coach Gerald Julius brings a wealth of experience to our technical team, having previously coached Blackman Warriors FC, Freeport FC, BYC FC, and Monrovia Breweries FC. His experience, leadership, and commitment to developing players will be a valuable asset to the club.

Downtown Football Club, a proud Liberia Football Association (LFA) First Division side, is pleased to announce a three-day Open Justification/Player Screening for all aspiring footballers. The exercise will take place from Monday to Wednesday at the Steven Tolbert Estate Field. This is a great opportunity for talented players to showcase their abilities and earn a place in one of Liberia’s exciting First Division clubs.

All participants are required to report to the venue by 7:00 AM each day. The official dress code is a white T-shirt, black shorts, and either white or black socks. Players are encouraged to arrive on time, be disciplined, and come fully prepared to give their best performance throughout the screening exercise.

This opportunity is open to everyone with the passion, commitment, and determination to play football at a competitive level.
