Wilfrid Mbappé, Kylian Mbappé’s dad life story

Early Life & Move to France

Elie Wilfrid Mbappé Lottin was born on October 11, 1970 in Douala, Cameroon. He’s originally from Djébalè, an island in the Wouri estuary near Douala. Wilfrid started out as a footballer in Cameroon before moving to France at age 20 to pursue his career. He settled in Bondy, a suburb of Paris, where he worked as a security guard while staying involved in football. He is French-Cameroonian and has 6 siblings.

Coaching Career & Building Talent

Wilfrid devoted over 25 years to AS Bondy**, the local club in Bondy. He started as a youth coach and later became sporting director for the Under-10 to Under-17 teams. He built a reputation for developing young players — more than 20 of his players went pro, including France and Arsenal defender William Saliba. He was also Kylian’s first coach. Kylian joined AS Bondy at age 6, and Wilfrid helped hone his skills technically, mentally and emotionally. The Mbappé home was built around sport: discipline, routine and ambition were part of daily life.

Agent, Family & Today works

After coaching, Wilfrid transitioned into being a football consultant and agent. He managed Kylian’s sporting career for a long time before Kylian signed with WME Sports in 2022. Wilfrid and Kylian’s mom, Fayza Lamari — a former French handball player of Algerian Kabyle descent — were together from 1997 and signed a civil partnership in 2016, before separating in 2022. They have 2 sons together: Kylian and Ethan, both pro footballers, and Wilfrid is also legal guardian of former pro Jirès Kembo Ekoko. Today Wilfrid still acts as one of Kylian’s closest football advisors while Fayza handles business and image right.

Simon Bloch Jørgensen Life Story

Early Life & Youth Career

Simon Kristian Bloch Jørgensen was born on September 1, 1992 in Flensburg, Germany, but holds Danish citizenship. He is famously 2.10m / 6'10" tall, making him one of the tallest professional footballers ever. He grew up in Denmark and came through the youth academies of BK Frem, FC Copenhagen, and B 1893. Standing out immediately for his height and reach, he was seen as a natural goalkeeper from a young age.

Senior Career in Denmark & England

Bloch began his senior career in Denmark with Frem, B93, B1908, and Brønshøj, making around 68 appearances in the Danish leagues. In 2017 he moved to England to chase professional football. He signed for Accrington Stanley and made 1 appearance in the Carabao Cup. He then played non-league football for Whitehawk, Dulwich Hamlet, and Greve before joining Waltham Abbey. His towering presence made him a nightmare for strikers on crosses and set pieces, and he was widely reported as the "world's tallest goalkeeper". His height gave him exceptional coverage of the goal, though he also worked to prove his agility matched his size.

Later Years & Retirement

After several moves around English non-league and Danish clubs, Simon Bloch Jørgensen retired from professional football on July 1, 2022 while at Waltham Abbey Though he never reached the top divisions, his story became popular because of his unique physical stature and determination to play abroad. He’s remembered as a journeyman keeper whose height made him a cult figure in football - proof that even unconventional attributes, combined with hard work, can take you across countries to play the game you love.

Joe Thunder Armstrong Nagbe

Early Life & Rise in Liberia:

Born 2 September 1968 in Nimba County, Liberia, Joe Nagbe started football with Young Survivors (1980-83) before joining Liberia's biggest clubs Invincible Eleven and Mighty Barolle. A powerful 1.84m (6'0") central midfielder, he made his Lone Star debut in 1986 at age 18. He became the midfield captain and heartbeat of Liberia's golden generation alongside George Weah, James Debbah and Thomas Doe, leading the country to the Africa Cup of Nations in 1996 and 2002. He would earn 77 official FIFA caps (97 by other counts) over 15 years.

European Journey & War:

Nagbe left Liberia in 1988 for Union Douala in Cameroon, then moved to France where he played for Stade de Vallauris, AS Monaco, SAS Épinal (64 games, 14 goals) and his best spell at OGC Nice (1993-96 - 96 games, 17 goals as captain). When civil war erupted in Liberia in 1990, his wife and 5-month-old son Darlington fled to a refugee camp in Sierra Leone before joining him as his career took him to Switzerland (FC Lugano) and Greece (PAOK 77 games, Panionios, PAS Giannina). He spent over 10 years in Europe, known for his leadership and box-to-box energy. He finished his career in the UAE with Al-Jazira and in Indonesia from 2003-2007.

Legacy & Family

After retiring in 2007, Nagbe became assistant coach of Liberia in 2010. His biggest legacy is his son *Darlington Nagbe* - born in Monrovia in July 1990, raised in Europe following his father's career, then settled in Cleveland, USA at age 11. Darlington became a US citizen in 2015 and one of MLS's greatest ever midfielders - 4-time MLS Cup winner with Portland, Atlanta and Columbus (2), and a US national team player. Joe Nagbe remains a Liberian football icon, the midfield general who carried Lone Star through its most glorious era while raising a family that survived war to achieve American soccer stardom.

Gerd Müller - Life Story

Gerd Müller was born on 3 November 1945 in Nördlingen, a small town in Bavaria, just months after World War II ended. He was the fifth child of a truck driver father and grew up in extreme poverty. His family shared a tiny house, and football was the only escape. He was not a natural athlete. He was short, at 1.76 meters, stocky, with thick legs and a low center of gravity. Teachers thought he was slow. He left school at 14 to become a weaver apprentice and played for his local club TSV 1861 Nördlingen. There, he did something absurd: he scored 180 goals in a single amateur season. That got him noticed.

In 1964, Bayern Munich, who were still in the second division at the time, signed him for just 4,400 dollars. When he arrived in Munich, coach Zlatko Cajkovski looked at him and said, "What am I supposed to do with this small, fat Müller? We need footballers, not weightlifters." His new teammates, including Franz Beckenbauer and Sepp Maier, laughed at his appearance. Then they played a practice game. Müller scored five goals. The laughter stopped forever. In 1965, Bayern were promoted to the Bundesliga, and the golden era of the club began, built around three friends from that second division team: Maier in goal, Beckenbauer in defense, and Müller in attack.

For the next 14 years, from 1965 to 1979, Müller was the most lethal goalscorer football has ever seen. He was not elegant like Cruyff or fast like Eto'o. His genius was inside the penalty box. He could turn in half a meter, shoot with his left, right, head, knee, or stomach, it did not matter. He seemed to know where the ball would land before it landed. Between 1967 and 1973 he won the Bundesliga top scorer award seven times. In 1971/72 he scored 40 goals in one season, a record that stood for 49 years until Robert Lewandowski scored 41 in 2020/21. In 1972 alone he scored 85 goals in all competitions for club and country, a record that stood until Lionel Messi scored 91 in 2021
