The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has assigned four Liberian referees to officiate the 2027 AFCON Qualifiers match between Sudan and Ethiopia on 25 September.

Washington Dolo will serve as the central referee, he will be assisted by AR1 Joel W. Doe and AR2 Thomas N. Konneh, while Moses B. Johnson will serve as the fourth official.

The Liberia Football Association First Vice President Prof. Sekou W. Konneh has been designated by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to serve as a Match Commissioner for the 2027 AFCON Qualifiers match between Ghana and the Gambia on 29 September, in Accra.

Turf installation works have commenced at the Willie D. Knuckles Sports Pitch in Paynesville following the completion of the sub-base and the geotextile/drainage installation phase.

​Funded by FIFA through the FIFA Forward Programme, the project moves the LFA a step closer to expanding pitch availability and creating another safe space for players to hone their skills and grow the game.

The Liberia Football Association, through the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS) have concluded a three-day final assessment for pre-scouted U12 players from the pilot project of the National Talent Identification programme.

Pre-selected players from Sinoe, Grand Bassa, Grand Gedeh, Nimba, B**g, Margibi and Montserrado Counties were assembled at the George Weah Technical Center in Careysburg, and engaged into multiple sessions for final selections.

The Liberia Football Association in continuation of its Talent Development program, Thursday, 27 August climaxed a two-day FIFA Talent Identification Workshop for Grassroot, Youth & Women League Coaches at the George Weah Technical Center.

The capacity building workshop was solely focused on enhancing the level of local coaches in Talent Identification, as well as providing latest tips for Grassroots' Talent Development.

FIFA Global Head for Talent Identification Steve Morrow served as lead facilitator, while Harry Varley, FIFA Talent ID Specialist provided assistant, along with LFA Technical Director Doco T. Wesseh and local scouts.

Liberia Football Association Executive Committee member Ivan G. Brown has been designated by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as Match Commissioner for the CAF Champions League fixture between Star Sport Academy and Medina United FC.

The match is scheduled for September 5, 2026, at the BO-Southern Arena, Sierra Leone.

Liberian international referees Emmanuel Mensah, Washington Dolo, Joel Doe, and Francis Bah have been designated by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to officiate in the Champions League match between Aiglons FC N’djamena and Sidaama Bunna FC.

Emmanuel Mensah will serve as the center referee, Washington Dolo will serve as the Fourth Official, while Joel Doe and Francis Bah have been appointed as Assistant Referees 1 and 2, respectively.

The match is set to take place at N’djamena-Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno, Chad.
