With a strong chess background and years of experience with the Maroons, Tharusha brings passion, focus, and a deep understanding of the game to the team. His journey includes representing Sri Lanka at the World Youth Chess Championship in Turkey, representing USJ at the GACC International Inter-University Chess Championship in Malaysia, and being a Colors winner and award-winning chess player at Sri Lanka University and USJ.
A Maroons member since 2013, his commitment to the club runs deep. Now, he takes on a new responsibility — leading, supporting, and guiding the team as they prepare to battle it out on the Super League stage. 🔥
