Φέτος είδαμε πολλά παιδιά να ανοίγουν την πόρτα σε δυνατές σχολές, καρπό δικής τους προσπάθειας, δικής τους επιμονής, δικού τους αγώνα. Κι όμως, ας το πούμε καθαρά: η σχολή δεν είναι ετυμηγορία. Είναι σημείο εκκίνησης. Δεν μετρά την αξία κανενός, δεν κλειδώνει κανέναν δρόμο πριν αυτός καν ανοίξει. Το δυναμικό ενός ανθρώπου δεν αποκαλύπτεται σε μια ανακοίνωση. Χτίζεται. Μέρα με τη μέρα. Επιλογή με επιλογή.
🔥Σε κάθε μαθητή και κάθε οικογένεια που μου εμπιστεύτηκε φέτος αυτή τη διαδρομή, σας ευχαριστώ βαθιά! 🙏🙏Η δική σας στιγμή είναι αυτή που περιμένω κάθε χρόνο με συγκίνηση, όποιο κι αν είναι το αποτέλεσμα, γιατί ξέρω τι κρύβεται πίσω από κάθε αριθμό: αγωνία, δουλειά, όνειρα.

📚Οι βαθμοί ανακοινώθηκαν. Η αξία των παιδιών, όμως, δεν χωρά ποτέ σε έναν πίνακα αποτελεσμάτων.Αυτές τις ημέρες, χιλιάδες νέοι και νέες κοιτούν έναν αριθμό. Για κάποιους είναι χαρά, για άλλους πίκρα. Για όλους, όμως, είναι μόνο μια στιγμή, όχι ο ορισμός της ζωής τους.
💎Ως παιδαγωγός και σύμβουλος σταδιοδρομίας, θέλω να θυμίσω κάτι θεμελιώδες: Οι βαθμοί δείχνουν μια επίδοση. Δεν αποτυπώνουν το ταλέντο, την αξία ή το μέλλον ενός ανθρώπου. Η ζωή δεν κρίνεται από μία εξέταση ή μία ημέρα. Χτίζεται με προσπάθεια, επιμονή, προσαρμοστικότητα και πίστη στον εαυτό μας.

👏Συγχαρητήρια σε όλα τα παιδιά, για τον κόπο και τη δύναμή τους, ανεξάρτητα από το αποτέλεσμα.
👏Επίσης θερμά συγχαρητήρια στους μαθητές και τις μαθήτριές μου για τα εξαιρετικά τους αποτελέσματα! 🔥Στο πλαίσιο της διαδικασίας επαγγελματικού προσανατολισμού, καλλιέργησαν την ικανότητα αυτογνωσίας, διερεύνησαν μεθοδικά τις εκπαιδευτικές και επαγγελματικές τους επιλογές και προχώρησαν με συνέπεια προς την υλοποίηση των στόχων τους! 🙏
❗Και μια ιδιαίτερη υπενθύμιση προς τους γονείς: Αυτές τις ημέρες τα παιδιά δεν χρειάζονται κριτική.Χρειάζονται αγκαλιά, σταθερότητα και την ήρεμη βεβαιότητα ότι η αγάπη μας δεν εξαρτάται από κανέναν βαθμό.
Σε λίγες εβδομάδες θα ανακοινωθούν οι σχολές εισαγωγής. Όμως, καμία λίστα επιτυχόντων δεν μπορεί να ορίσει τα όνειρα και τις δυνατότητες ενός νέου ανθρώπου!
💎Η εκπαίδευση είναι πορεία εξέλιξης, ανακάλυψης και δύναμης. Και αυτό το ταξίδι τώρα αρχίζει!

Anxiety. Sleepless nights. Sacrifices. Dreams!
And yet, these days do not define who you are. They only define your next step forward.

Throughout the years I have spent guiding young people on their academic and professional journeys, I have witnessed something that no school textbook can truly teach: those who believe in themselves, even when the numbers do not reflect what they hoped for, always find their path.

A score is simply a tool. YOU are far more than any tool or number!

To every student who will sit in that examination room with the paper before them, I say with all my heart: Write. Take a breath. Trust what you know! 🙏

And when this period comes to an end, remember this: life does not end here. It is only beginning! 🌞

Κάποιες ειδήσεις δεν είναι απλώς γεγονότα, είναι καθρέφτες μιας συλλογικής μας ευθύνης!
Δύο κορίτσια, 17 ετών!! Δύο ψυχές που, όπως φαίνεται, κουβάλησαν ένα βάρος που καμία εφηβεία δεν θα έπρεπε να γνωρίζει!

Ως παιδαγωγός και σύμβουλος, νιώθω όλο και πιο καθαρά πως η ψυχική υγεία των παιδιών και των εφήβων δεν είναι δευτερεύον ζήτημα, αλλά είναι θεμέλιο της ίδιας της εκπαίδευσης και της κοινωνίας μας. Δεν είναι κάτι που το θυμόμαστε μόνο όταν υπάρξει κρίση. Είναι καθημερινή παρουσία, σχέση και παιδαγωγική σύνδεση.

Τα παιδιά δεν χρειάζονται μόνο στόχους και επιδόσεις.Χρειάζονται να νιώθουν ότι κάποιος τα βλέπει πραγματικά, τα ακούει ουσιαστικά και τα αναγνωρίζει... ακόμη και μέσα στις σιωπές τους. Πίσω από ένα “είμαι καλά” μπορεί να υπάρχει ένας εσωτερικός κόσμος που δεν έχει ακόμη βρει χώρο να ειπωθεί. Σήμερα δεν χρειάζονται κρίσεις, χρειάζεται παρουσία, ευαισθησία, εγρήγορση!

❗Και πάνω απ’ όλα, η βαθιά υπενθύμιση: κανένα παιδί που δυσκολεύεται δεν πρέπει να μένει μόνο του σε αυτό που βιώνει!

Some news stories are not just events — they are mirrors of our collective responsibility.
Two 17-year-old girls. Two young souls who, it seems, carried a weight no adolescence should ever have to know.

As an educator and counsellor, I feel more and more deeply that the mental health of children and adolescents is not a secondary issue... it is a foundation of both education and society itself. It is not something we only remember in moments of crisis. It is daily presence, relationship and pedagogical connection.
Children do not only need goals and performance. They need to feel that someone truly sees them, truly hears them, and truly recognizes them, even in their silences.

Behind an “I am fine” there may be an inner world that has not yet found space to be expressed.

Today, we do not need judgment. We need presence, sensitivity, and awareness.
❗And above all, a deep reminder: no child who is struggling should ever be left alone in what they are going through!!

Today I’m not only thinking about the “perfect” mothers.
I’m thinking about the real ones.
The women who kept families standing while quietly breaking inside…
who became an embrace, strength, comfort and light. ✨

And today I feel this beautiful continuation of love through the women in my own life. 🌷

My mother…
a very elderly woman now, who often travels through the blurred paths of memory. And yet, even if moments and faces fade away, the love she placed inside me can never disappear. Because motherhood does not live only in memory. It lives in the soul. 🪷

And I look at my daughters, who are now mothers themselves, and I feel deeply moved watching this invisible circle continue. The tenderness, the worry, the quiet “I am here.” 🥀

Once, I was the child. :-)
Then I became a mother.
And now I watch my children hold their own children, and I understand that love is what continues. 🤍

To those who remember, to those who forget, to those who hold on, to those who let others spread their wings…

Μεγάλη Παρασκευή. Μια μέρα που μας επιβάλλει τη σιωπή, όχι για να μελαγχολήσουμε, αλλά για να ακούσουμε επιτέλους τον εαυτό μας.

​Στη ζωή, όπως και στην έρευνα ή στην καριέρα μας, υπάρχουν στιγμές που όλα μοιάζουν να σταματούν, να τελειώνουν ή να καταρρέουν. Όμως, η σημερινή μέρα μας διδάσκει ότι το 'τέλος' είναι συχνά το απαραίτητο πέρασμα για μια νέα αρχή. Χωρίς τη δοκιμασία, δεν υπάρχει λύτρωση.
​Ας αγκαλιάσουμε τις 'σιωπές' μας και ας περιμένουμε το φως που έρχεται. Καλή δύναμη και καλή προσμονή.

Good Friday. A day that calls for silence... not to invite melancholy but to finally allow us to listen to our inner selves.
​In life, as in research or our professional paths, there are moments when everything seems to stall, to end or to fall apart. Yet, today teaches us that an 'end' is often the vital passage toward a new beginning. Without the trial, there is no restoration.

​Let us embrace our moments of silence and wait for the light that is coming. Wishing you strength and peaceful anticipation! 🪻

Standing within moments that quietly shape the future of humanity, I feel both humbled and deeply honored.
The signing of the Colombo Declaration 2025, during the 63rd World Congress of Integrative Medicine, is not simply an institutional milestone. It is a living continuation of a vision that began with the Alma Alta Declaration ... a vision that reminds us that health is not merely the absence of disease but the presence of balance, dignity and consciousness in human life.

Forty-seven years later, we are called not just to remember… but to evolve. As a Professor and long-standing Senate Member within this global community, I have witnessed the steady unfolding of integrative medicine from a hopeful idea to a necessary paradigm. Today, that paradigm becomes a shared responsibility.
Integrative Health is no longer an alternative path.
It is the bridge between science and soul, between knowledge and wisdom, between treatment and true healing.

These moments captured here are more than photographs.
They are imprints of collective intention, collaboration and a deeper commitment to serve humanity in a more conscious, holistic way.

We are not just part of history.
We are its co-creators.
And the future of health… begins within.

💡 Η συμπεριφορά των παιδιών στην τάξη δεν είναι τυχαία. Είναι καθρέφτης του σεβασμού, της αγάπης και των αξιών που μαθαίνουν στο σπίτι. Κάθε δάσκαλος αξίζει τιμή, σεβασμό και αναγνώριση..γιατί η τάξη δεν είναι μόνο μάθηση. Είναι χώρος ανάπτυξης, συναισθηματικής ασφάλειας και ανθρωπιάς. Όταν οικογένεια και σχολείο συνεργάζονται πραγματικά, τα παιδιά μαθαίνουν να αναγνωρίζουν την προσπάθεια, να διαχειρίζονται τη συμπεριφορά τους και να εκτιμούν την ανθρώπινη αξία — την πιο σημαντική κληρονομιά που μπορούμε να τους δώσουμε!

💡 Children’s behavior in the classroom is never random. It reflects the respect, love and values they learn at home. Every teacher deserves honor, respect and recognition… because the classroom is not just about learning. It’s a space for growth, emotional safety and humanity. When children respect their teacher, they learn cooperation, responsibility, honesty and the value of effort.

☀️ Parents are the first teachers. By supporting educators, they teach their children respect, responsibility, empathy and strength of character. When family and school truly collaborate, children learn to acknowledge effort, manage their behavior and appreciate human value — the most important legacy we can leave them!
