Many of you would have seen Asanka at Rainbows — our very own masseuse. 🌈

But there’s so much more to his story.

Asanka comes from a very humble background and is a para-athlete who has worked incredibly hard to build a better life for himself and his family. Along the way, he has also helped so many others with the same kindness and care he gives everyone at Rainbows.

Today, we’re so happy to celebrate a very special milestone with him — he has built a new home for his family. 🏡❤️

We’re so proud of you, Asanka. Congratulations on this amazing achievement, and we wish you and your family nothing but happiness, love and many beautiful memories in your new home.

Rainbow Swimming Academy will be closed from 24th–31st August 2026. Regular operations will resume from 1st September onwards.

Please note: Ladies Only Classes and Adults Morning Squad will continue as usual. Adults Evening Squad can join the morning sessions.

We’re just one day away! 🎉

As you get ready for the Rainbow Swim.Run 2026, please take a moment to go through these important reminders:

📌 NO CLASSES on Sunday, 16th August – morning & evening, due to the event.

🚗 NO PARKING inside the pool premises on event day. Parking is available down Maitland on both sides of the road.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parents, please be ready to meet your child after the swim, with their T-shirt, shorts and running shoes. Parents are also welcome to run alongside their child if they wish!

💧 HYDRATION IS IMPORTANT! Please ensure every child has a water bottle and stays well hydrated before and after the swim and run.
