As part of the 80th Independence Day Celebrations of India, the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), High Commission of India, Colombo, participated in the Digital Workshop on Warli Art, organised by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).

Participants explored the unique tribal art tradition of Warli painting, guided by renowned Warli artist Mr. Dilip Rama Bahotha from Maharashtra, gaining an insight into its traditional motifs, storytelling and cultural heritage. Celebrating India’s Heritage Through Art! 🇮🇳

As part of the 80th Independence Day Celebrations of India, the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), High Commission of India, Colombo, organised an engaging online Madhubani Art Workshop conducted by Ms. Minal Adhikari, Counsellor, Special Educator & Waldorf-trained Teacher from India and co-ordinated by Mrs Meenal Renavikar, Founder of Creative Koder.

The workshop offered participants a wonderful opportunity to explore the vibrant colours, traditional motifs and rich cultural heritage of Madhubani painting, while celebrating India’s diverse artistic traditions.
