Today’s victory was dedicated to our beloved Young Old Ben, Sharwin Dhanushan, who sadly passed away in a tragic accident. To honour his memory, our goalkeeper proudly wore Sharwin’s jersey throughout the match. His spirit, passion, and love for the game inspired us every step of the way.

This win is for you, Sharwin. You may be gone, but you will forever remain in our hearts and continue to be part of our team. You are still alive through the memories we share and the legacy you left behind.

It is with profound sadness that we share the untimely passing of our beloved fellow hockey player and friend, J. Sharvin Dhanushan.

Sharvin was not only the current goalkeeper of the Old Bens Hockey Sports Club but also a cherished teammate whose dedication, sportsmanship, and warm-hearted nature touched the lives of everyone around him. His sudden departure is an immeasurable loss to his family, friends, teammates, and the entire hockey fraternity.

As we mourn this heartbreaking loss, we kindly request everyone to keep Sharvin and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
