Learning ballet through an RAD Registered School ensures students receive training within an internationally recognised framework, following a structured syllabus designed to develop strong technique, musicality and confidence.

Since 1980, Deanna School of Dancing has proudly maintained its longstanding affiliation with the Royal Academy of Dance and was the first school in Sri Lanka to introduce RAD examinations.

Through the vision and dedication of our founder, Deanna Jayasuriya, RAD examinations were brought to Sri Lanka, creating opportunities for generations of dancers to be recognised through an internationally respected ballet system.

Over four decades of nurturing dancers, inspiring confidence and sharing the love of ballet.
