CrossFit has the most robust methodology in all of fitness.
It took science, utility, and actual human performance and put them into a single system. Everything else since then is just clever marketing wrapped around a lighter workout.
Before CrossFit, group fitness was just jazzercise, step aerobics, and bodybuilding splits.
Let’s be honest: there would be no Orange Theory, no Barry’s, no F45, and no HYROX if CrossFit hadn’t shattered the industry first. Every trendy “functional training” franchise today is just a watered-down version of what CrossFit built decades ago.
