Who will represent Lebanon on the world stage?

The Lebanese University Sports Federation continues to expand its international presence. Alongside its five historic participations this summer and the unprecedented results achieved by Lebanon's university national teams, the Head of the Lebanese Delegation to the FISU World University Padel Championship in Málaga, Spain, Zakaria Charara, and National Teams Manager Maroun El Khoury held a series of meetings with delegation leaders from several leading European nations.

These meetings are part of FSUL's ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation, exchange expertise, build strategic partnerships, and further expand Lebanon's presence on the global university sports stage.

During the 2026 FISU World University Championship Futsal Final between Portugal and Brazil, Fédération Sportive Universitaire du Liban Executive Committee Member and National Teams Manager, Mr. Maroun El Khoury, met with C B D U Brazil 🇧🇷 and FISU America President Mr. Alim Maluf Neto and the FADU Portugal 🇵🇹President Mr. Diogo Salgado Braz to strengthen Lebanon’s relations with leading university sports nations.
