Enrique Corcuera is credited with designing the first padel court in 1969, which featured glass walls and a smaller playing area compared to traditional tennis courts

He made several modifications to the game, including the use of solid walls and the introduction of a scoring system similar to tennis.

These innovations helped transform Padel into a distinct sport with its own set of rules and characteristics.
