INJAZ Lebanon

In its second year, MAKKEN continues to equip communities across North Lebanon with the knowledge, skills, and tools to drive meaningful local change.

Together with our municipal partners in Andakit, Bebnine, Dhour El Hawa, Jdeidet El Joumeh, Minyara, and Zgharta, we wrapped up a series of capacity-building sessions focused on strengthening collaboration with municipalities and local working groups.

Through interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and peer learning, participants explored practical ways to identify community needs, build partnerships, and contribute to initiatives that create lasting local impact.

These sessions lay the foundation for stronger collaboration, shared learning, and community-driven solutions that will continue to grow throughout the program.

للسنة التانية، بيكمّل مشروع 'مكّن' (MAKKEN) دعم المجتمعات بشمال لبنان، من خلال تزويدها بالمعرفة والمهارات والأدوات اللي بتساعدها تقود تغيير حقيقي بمجتمعاتها.

وبالتعاون مع شركائنا ببلديات عندقت، ببنين، ضهور الهوى، جديدة الجومة، منيارة، وزغرتا، اختتمنا سلسلة من جلسات بناء القدرات، ركّزت على تعزيز التعاون بين البلديات ومجموعات العمل المحلية.

من خلال مناقشات تفاعلية، وأنشطة تطبيقية، وتبادل للخبرات، استكشف المشاركون طرقًا عملية لتحديد احتياجات مجتمعاتهم، وبناء شراكات فعّالة، والمساهمة بتطوير مبادرات بتترك أثر مستدام على المستوى المحلي.

هالجلسات كانت مساحة للتعلّم، وتبادل الخبرات، وتعزيز التعاون، ووضعت الأساس لمبادرات نابعة من المجتمع، رح يكفّي المشاركون تطويرها والعمل عليها على امتداد البرنامج.

August 4 is not a day we move past.

We remember the people we lost, those who were injured, and everyone whose life changed that day.

We also think of the young people we meet every day. They carry this memory, but they continue to learn, create, help one another, and ask what they can do for Lebanon. Young people who are choosing not to give up on Lebanon.

Today, we remember. And we continue to believe in the youth taking us forward.
