위드돌이 6월 13일 중국 광저우에서 열리는 奶司的小人国 전시와 6월 14일 항저우에서 열리는 Dolly Paradise에 참가합니다.

WITHDOLL将参加6月13日在广州举办的奶司的小人国展会，以及6月14日在杭州举办的Dolly Paradise展会。

한국의 물귀신 설화를 모티브로 한 이 작품을 보고 깊은 감동을 받았습니다.

We were deeply moved by this beautiful interpretation of the Korean Mul Gwishin (Water Ghost) folklore.

한국의 역사와 설화에 대한 이해는 물론, 그것을 자신만의 해석으로 풀어낸 방식이 정말 놀랍습니다.

Not only is your understanding of Korean history and folklore remarkable, but the way you transformed it into your own unique story is truly inspiring.

붉은 천이 묶인 밧줄, 물에 묶인 채 기다리는 강쇠의 이야기, 그리고 슬프고도 아름다운 분위기까지. 사진을 넘기며 읽은 이야기는 마치 한 편의 전설을 다시 만나는 듯한 느낌을 주었습니다.

The rope adorned with red fabric, Gang-Soe waiting eternally in the water, and the hauntingly beautiful atmosphere all come together to create something unforgettable. Reading the story alongside the photographs felt like rediscovering an old legend.

무엇보다도 이 강렬한 비주얼과 서사를 위드돌의 타렌을 통해 표현해 주셨다는 사실에 진심으로 감사드립니다.

얼마 전 열여덟 해를 함께 한 저의 고양이 ‘꼬마’가 무지개 다리를 건넜습니다.

네비를 떠나 보낸 후 얼마 되지 않아 건강이 빠르게 악화되더니 결국.

열여덟 살이면 사람 나이로는 아흔 살 정도.
사실 장수한 편이긴 합니다만…
자식처럼 키운 아이를 떠나 보내는 심정은 그저 괴로울 따름이네요.

한 달 사이에 딸아이 둘을 떠나 보내고 저도 몸과 마음이 많이 약해졌는데요.

이번에도 떠나간 아이를 그리며 헤드를 만들고 나니 위로가 되었습니다.

이번 아이는 고양이 묘(猫)에서 따온 ‘미오(Mio)’라는 이름을 붙여 주었습니다.

A little while ago, my cat Kkoma crossed the Rainbow Bridge after spending eighteen years by my side.

Her name, Kkoma, means “little one” in Korean.

Not long after saying goodbye to Navi, her health began to decline rapidly, and eventually, she too left this world.

Eighteen years is roughly equivalent to ninety years in human age.
In many ways, she lived a long and blessed life.

Even so, when you have raised a beloved companion as if they were your own child, losing them is simply heartbreaking.

Within the span of a single month, I had to say goodbye to two of my girls.
The loss has left both my body and mind exhausted.

As before, I found comfort in remembering the one I missed and creating a doll head inspired by her.

For this new creation, I gave her the name Mio, inspired by the Chinese character 猫, meaning “cat.”
