Name: Alex Started: Late 2016 Distance covered to date: Over 20,000 kms  Why: As a way to commute to work and beat Nairobi traffic. What has cycling taught you: Cyclists have a good community that is always looking out for each other which I've com to appreciate. I have been able to achieve the almost mythical  "work-life balance" where my previous commute that would take over 2 hours in the car now only takes about 30 minutes allowing me more time to spend with my family.  Having tried other workouts in the past I had stagnated managing my weight, but cycling broke that plateau, and it is quite convenient that I can commute and save time while also staying fit.  Not to forget that whenever you hit the road you're able to maintain mental clarity and alertness which comes in handy when dealing with drivers on our Kenyan roads.   #KenyanCyclist #Profile #Cycling
