Sikri Sports Academy joins the wider football fraternity in mourning the passing of Lakini Ochieng' of Newlight Football Club, a talented young player whose dedication to the beautiful game was evident to all who witnessed him play.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Masiga family, his teammates, coaches, and all who loved him. Losing a young footballer is a loss that reaches far beyond the pitch. It is felt across communities, clubs, and the hearts of those who believe in the power of sport to shape lives.
Lakini played with pride and purpose. That spirit does not leave with him. It lives on in every young player he inspired and every game played in his memory. We stand with Newlight Football Club, Rachuonyo South Sub Branch FKF, and all who grieve his untimely departure.
