🌱 Tree Planting at Kapmasai Riparian Land | Mauche, Mau East

With the rains setting in, we are gearing up our tree-planting activities to take full advantage of the remaining rainy months of the year. 🌧️🌳

Today FarmLife Health Services Ltd , together with the local community, local administration, community elders (Wazee wa Mtaa), and the KDF Lanet team, successfully conducted a tree-planting exercise at Kapmasai Riparian, Kapkembu Location, Mauche – Mau East.

🌳 3,500 indigenous tree seedlings were planted along the riparian area to support ecosystem restoration, protect water resources, and restore degraded landscapes.

🌱 An additional 500 indigenous seedlings were distributed to local farmers to encourage tree growing and restoration on their farms.

This activity demonstrates what strong community partnerships can achieve. Together, we are restoring landscapes, protecting critical ecosystems, and building more resilient communities.

A big thank you to the KDF Lanet team, local administration, community leaders, farmers, and residents who made the exercise a success.

The restoration journey continues—one tree, one farmer, one landscape at a time. 🌍🌱

🌱 We were proud to partner with the Molo Constituency Forest Association in launching a school orchard at Elburgon DEP Comprehensive School.

Together, we planted 45 fruit trees to promote environmental conservation, improve learner nutrition, and equip students with practical agriculture skills.

After one week of intensive investor readiness training by Fund at Lake Naivasha Resort, yesterday we convened at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi for the Land Accelerator 2026 Demo Day, where we pitched FarmLife Health Services Ltd to investors, development partners, and other key stakeholders.

The Demo Day provided an excellent platform to showcase our impact-driven business model and exhibit products from our restoration value chains, including fresh avocados, KEBS-certified Mursik, pure honey, and Black Soldier Fly (BSF) organic fertilizer. It was also a valuable opportunity to engage with potential partners and demonstrate how restoration can drive inclusive economic growth.

Our goal was to build strategic partnerships, connect with potential investors, raise capital to scale our operations, and expand our network as we continue empowering smallholder farmers through agroforestry, avocado contract farming, climate-smart agriculture, value addition, financial inclusion through Farmlife Sacco, and sustainable livelihoods.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Barka Fund, WRI Africa, and the entire Land Accelerator team for this transformative journey. The mentorship, investor readiness training, and Demo Day have strengthened our capacity to attract investment and accelerate our mission of restoring landscapes while improving rural livelihoods.

The conversations we had and the connections we made reaffirm that the future of restoration lies in strong partnerships and innovative, locally led enterprises.

Together, we are proving that restoring landscapes also restores livelihoods.
