RECSA is an Inter-governmental body co-ordinating the implementation of the Nairobi Protocol on the Prevention, Control and Reduction of Small Arms and Light Weapons in 15 countries in the Great Lakes Region, the Horn of Africa & Bordering States RECSA is mandated to coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Nairobi Protocol on addressing the proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) in 15 States in the Great Lakes region, Horn of Africa & Bordering States.
