Possession is not an attacking or defending strategy in itself but a conduit in controlling the game.
Controlling the game doesn't mean having more possession than the other team, it means keeping the ball in other teams half for the majority of the game.
Nevertheless, possession facilitates the attacking strategy and even defensive strategy

1)strength-He gave me difficulties to make me strong.
2)Wisdom-He gave me problems to solve.
3)Courage-He gave me dangers to overcome.
4)Love-He brought troubled people for me to help.
