Baseball Boys and Softball Girls Teams are among the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports delegation in Morogoro, Tanzania. This is the first time the two sports are in the Schools Competitions. Kenya, Uganda and host Tanzania square it out.

Team Kenya to the 2026 Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Associations, FEASSA, Games in Morogoro-Tanzania sets off on the long journey on Tuesday evening. A detailed program released by Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association, KSSSA, shows that the team of a record 1,936 Athletes will use a fleet of 25 trademark yellow Buses.

The Athletes and Officials are expected to touch down at Morogoro on Wednesday 12th August, 2026 at 11.00am.

There will be two-hour stopovers at designated towns in Tanzania for quick rests and replenishments.

While flagging off the team on Tuesday at Mang'u High school, the Chief Guest Elyas Abdi Jillaow, OGW (who is the Director General in the Ministry of Education) announced that elaborate plans have been put in place to ensure the safety and security of the Kenyan delegation.

"We made arrangements with the Government of the Republic of Tanzania to provide Police es**rt to the team; all the way to Morogoro". He said.

He asked the bus drivers to strictly observe the speed limits adding that all the buses will move in one convoy.
