This International Youth Day 2026 we are reflecting on the official United Nations theme: “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations’

Resonating with our recent youth focused event for 100 young people and youth empowerment stakeholders, one of our most powerful activities at the event was a ‘Privilege Walk’. This activity highlighted how factors such as family background, disability, financial stability and access to education influence opportunity. Participants gained a deeper understanding of the structural barriers that contribute to youth unemployment and inequality.

At the event we signed a new partnership to further our youth impact with Swahilipot Hub as we take our commitment forward, looking ahead to a brighter future.
