Farasi crew from Embu College did amazing work during the 2026 national scouts competition at rowallan scouts camp, Nairobi.
the team was crowned the drills champions beating all teams from different universities and colleges across the larger Kenya.
congratulations 👏 🎉 to this great team of ladies. and all the best as they prepare to represent Kenya in DARESALAM , TANZANIA for east Africa camp.

The Embu west subcounty open/education day

it's was a day filled with alot of activities from chess,and board games to skating ,sackrace, spoon race ,eating competition and not forgetting the learning part .

the scouts present learnt on flag ceremony,basic drills and also the basic scouting knowledge on history,and principles of scouting.

the culmination of the event was the fashion show(modelling)with winners or the Mr and Mrs embu west subcounty coming from urban school and st Teresa's girls kithimu.

The following is updates regarding the upcoming National Scouts Competitions and Educational Camp:

1. *National Letters*
• All national letters have now been dispatched to the respective Regional Chairpersons and County Scouts Commissioners.

1. *Educational Camp Letters*
• The Educational Camp invitation letters will be released by tomorrow and will be sent directly to the respective County Scouts Commissioners.

1. *Competition Venues*
* All Rover Competitions will be held at Rowallan Scout Camp.

* Base and Project Competitions, Drills, and Brass Band Competitions will be held at Mount Kenya University, Thika Campus, Kiambu County.

*The Educational Camp* will also take place at Mount Kenya University, Thika Campus.

4. *Assessors*
* All assessors selected to officiate during the National Competitions must be registered on the Kenya Scouts Association’s new registration platform. This is a mandatory requirement before deployment.

We kindly request all program Commissioners to share this information with their respective teams and ensure that all necessary preparations are completed in good time.

Further updates, including any additional logistical information, will be communicated as they become available.

Embu Rover Scouts participating in Project 360° Shield: Child Safety and Awareness yesterday completed a first aid training at the Embu Scout Centre, equipping them with essential emergency response skills as they prepare to implement the child road safety initiative.

The training was facilitated by qualified medical personnel from Tenri Children's Hospital, who took participants through practical first aid procedures that will enable them to respond effectively to emergencies while conducting community outreach and road safety awareness activities.

Project 360° Shield is an initiative dedicated to promoting child safety on our roads through education, awareness, and community engagement. The first aid training marks a significant milestone in ensuring that the project team is adequately prepared to safeguard lives while serving communities.

The initiative is led by the team lead Arnold Munyi Kinyua together with Embu Rover Scouts in collaboration with key partners committed to advancing child safety.
