The September 2026 Special Dan Examination was held at Hombu on September 27.
Mr. Carlos A. H. Ramires and Mr. Fausto Augusto Carrico from Portugal were awarded 7th Dan, while Mr. Kyohei Hosoe from Malaysia was awarded 6th Dan.

- February 2026 WSKO Southeast Asian Regional Study Session -
WSKO President Kouma So and WSKO Secretary-General Shoji Arai attended the study session held at the central dojo of the Indonesian Shorinji Kempo Federation on February 7 and 8, 2026. They were joined by other WSKO Instructors from Japan.
The event saw a high turnout, with more than 330 participants traveling from across Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, and Italy.
The two-day study session concluded with a formal closing ceremony. During the ceremony, new rank certificates were presented to the successful candidates: one individual passed the 5th Dan examination, and 61 participants successfully earned the rank of Seikenshi 4th Dan.
