Had the opportunity to be featured on Doordarshan MP, speaking about something I deeply believe in - the power of running and community.
Grateful to have started one of Bhopal’s first community running movements through but what truly matters is the people it brought together.

Past one year = learning how to train without being stupid 😅
Rehab, strength work, slow return to running and lots of mobility.
Honestly, it has taken way longer than I expected. I thought I’d be “back” much earlier. But I’ve learned a lot, met some really solid people, and understood my body better in the process.
Still not at the final destination.
Still rebuilding. And excited to see what improves next.

Ran a 10k today after 13 months. The injury really affected me, both physically and mentally, and that phase was honestly very hard. But looking back, it also led me to some amazing mentors who helped me heal beyond just training. I’ve missed running and I’ve missed race days. Being an athlete for most of my life, a 1.5-year break was tough, but it also taught me how to accept injury as part of the journey. I had no pace goals today-just an easy, breezy run for the body. I’ve been doing test runs for over six months, and today was what I’d been quietly working towards as my comeback.
PS: This came as an early birthday present for me :)
