Saturday isn’t just a regular weekend for Team Nritya Odori it’s all about power, discipline, and doing what we love the most. There’s no better place than a room full of passion and energetic dancers.
Glimpses from team Nritya Odori’s regular Kathak classes at Seishincho for beginners and intermediate students. Classes are held every Saturday, 10:30 onwards for adults. DM or comment for more details about our classes.

I had the opportunity to perform this beautiful Kathak Teentaal piece on Radha composed by Guru Ramaprasad Chattopadhyay. I was the happiest to be able to perform his composition on stage after 2 decades. I started learning from him when I was only 6/7 years of age. I vividly remember every Saturday when my father/mother would drop me off for my dance lessons. Mama (Guruji) would come all the way from Kolkata to Asansol to teach us. I consider myself lucky that I am able to dance his beautiful compositions in Tokyo as well. Although I am yet to do justice to this beautiful piece.
A small excerpt from my recent performance at the Indian Solo Dance Act 2026.
Choreography: Guru Ramaprasad Chattopadhyay

A timeless Indian love story of Radha and Krishna told through the language of rhythm.
It was a unique experience performing in front of the beautiful audience who unite by the rhythm that flows from the banks of the Ganga, Yamuna all the way to Mt. Fuji.
