Thank you very much for participating in the 2026 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships.
We are truly delighted that we were able to welcome so many cyclists from countries and regions around the world to Hokkaido and Niseko, and successfully host this historic event.

In preparation for and throughout the event, extensive traffic restrictions were implemented under the direction of the Hokkaido Prefectural Police.

We sincerely apologize for the significant inconvenience this caused to local residents and businesses, as well as to the many facilities in the area.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all those who supported the event, including local businesses, farmers, residents living along the courses, volunteers, and everyone else who contributed their understanding, cooperation, and support.

Thanks to you, we were able to welcome cyclists from around the world and bring this memorable championship to a successful conclusion.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who lined the roads and cheered warmly for the riders. Surrounded by Niseko’s beautiful scenery and the enthusiastic support of the local community, the races must have created unforgettable memories for cyclists who traveled from all over the world.

It was a great honor for us to host the World Championships here in Niseko and to share this special moment with all of you.

We will continue working to create cycling events that allow people from around the world to experience the unique beauty and charm of Niseko through cycling. We look forward to seeing you all again here in Niseko.

[Access to feedzones]
In the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships, riders are responsible for managing their own feeding.

During the Niseko Classic held in previous years, staff were positioned along the course to hand bottles to riders. Please note that there will be no staff providing bottle hand-ups at this event.

However, support from teams or family members at the feedzone is permitted, including cheering and providing refreshments.

For those who are planning to go to the feedzones, please refer to the information below for access.

① Nakoma Feed Zone
Please park your vehicle in the parking lot and walk to the Feed Zone. (From the direction of Route 5)
*Vehicles are not permitted to enter the Feed Zone.

② YukiChichibu Feed Zone
Vehicles may enter the Feed Zone or the parking lot near it.
*Due to traffic restrictions, please complete entry to the Feed Zone station by 5:50 a.m.

③ Waisu Feed Zone
Vehicles are not permitted to enter the Feed Zone.
Please walk to the Feed zone from the parking area listed below. (From the direction of Route 5)
*Due to traffic restrictions, please complete entry to the Feed Zone by 7:30.

UCIグランフォンド世界選手権での補給は、選手ご自身で行うこととなります。
昨年までのニセコクラシック開催時には、ボトル手渡しの沿道スタッフがいましたが、チャンピオンシップでは沿道スタッフはおりませんのでご注意ください。
なお、チームやご家族からの沿道での応援・補給は可能です。

その際の各補給所へのアクセスは下記をご参照ください。

①名駒補給所
車両は指定の駐車場へ駐車の上、徒歩にて補給所へお越しください。（国道5号線方面から）
※補給所への車両の進入は出来ません。

②雪秩父補給所
補給又は補給所付近の駐車場への車両進入は可能です。
※交通規制の関係上、5:50までに補給所への進入完了してください。

③ワイス補給所
補給所への車両の進入はできません。
指定の駐車位置より徒歩にて補給所へお越しください。（国道5号線方面から）
※交通規制の関係上、7:30までに補給所への進入完了してください。

Warming up on National Route 276 obstructs regular traffic and is extremely dangerous.

Please stop warming up on National Route 276 immediately and warm up only in the designated areas around the venue.

Failure to follow traffic rules and the instructions of the event organizers may result in you being denied participation in the Time Trial.

For everyone’s safety and to ensure the smooth operation of the event, please follow this instruction without exception.

国道276号線でのウォーミングアップは直ちに中止し、会場周辺の指定された場所で行ってください。

交通ルールおよび大会運営上の指示を遵守いただけない場合は、**タイムトライアルへの出場をお断りする場合がございます。

Participants competing in the Time Trial on Thursday, August 27, who require a Height Certificate are requested to complete the necessary procedure at Niseko International Clinic by 5:00 PM today.
