Seahares still doing their Thang!

Sea hares are simultaneous hermaphrodites that possess both male and female reproductive organs. They are famous for gathering in large groups to mate, forming long, train-like "daisy chains" where each individual acts as a male to the sea hare in front of it and a female to the one behind it.

Meet the local Dendrodoris limbata!

Our guides have had the pleasure of seeing and showing this to our divers over the past few weeks.

commonly known as the Mottled Doris, is a species of nudibranch originally described from the Mediterranean coast of France. This sea slug is characterized by its smooth, soft body, which lacks the typical rasping teeth (radula) found in most mollusks, and a prominent yellow or orange border around its mantle. It is a common inhabitant of the shallow rocky reefs and seagrass meadows of the South of France, where it feeds predominantly on sponges.

We are super happy to have Mike Jolly join our team this season. Mike has worked in Ireland and Thailand and brings a smile to the dive centre each day. He certainly lives up to his surname.

Mike has great knowledge of the local marine life and is keen to show our divers. We can't wait for you all to have a fun season with him.

We are excited to introduce Lucas Stubbs as one of our newest team members for season 2026!

Lucas is already great at showing people the local marine life, including the nudibranchs. He even spotted a rare one at St. Catherine's.

He has come to us after doing a few seasons in Thailand and we are super glad he did!

He teaches thoroughly with enthusiasm, and we have already had great customer reviews about him.
