Pictures not from my boat, but Sunday 23rd was the first day of the Jersey catch and kill permit. Being not allowed to charter and keep from the same vessel I decided to keep Anna III charter. I spoke to Les at crabs direct to see if he was keen go for catch an keep on his boat. So working together we got his boat kitted out and went for it. Les with years of fishing experience and my years of knowledge gained already Tuna fishing in jersey we had one on the first day out, weather conditions were against us so we decided to come in with one and not try for another. Fish and birds were still around us but it was getting late in the day due to a late start only leaving the harbour around 11.30.
We did well and I'm happy I could pass on valuable gained knowledge and equipment to Les and Andy.

We have limited days if you want to catch and release on Anna III and remember to get to Dun Ross to get your piece of local top quality Tuna supplied by J51 Jeany
