New Core workout classes start tonight with Body Ball & Strength with Maria at 6pm.

Then we have FitBall with Karolina on Friday morning at 6:15am and again on Saturday at 10:45am.

Next week there is Core on the Ball with Maria at 6:15pm on Tuesday.

And a standing core workout class ‘Core Melt’ with Magda at 5:30pm on Wednesday.

We look forward to seeing you in one of our classes very soon!

To book:

Download the Healthhaus app and set up your profile. (Find the app in Apple or Android app stores)

Call our reception team on 614800 to pay for either a single class or a block of 6 or 12 (discounted Class Bundles) and then book yourself into a class via the app once your class credits show up in the ‘Passes’ section.

Please note that new class participants will need to complete a short health questionnaire in advance (either via email or in person at the club)

NEW classes (and some existing favourites) every Thursday at Healthhaus. (Non-members welcome)

Start the day with an energising HIIT class with Karolina at 9:30am or a stimulating Vinyasa Yoga class with Siobhain, also at 9:30am.

In the afternoon we have a fantastic new Yoga Nidra class designed to help you reset and find an hour of stillness in your day. 4:30pm with Michelle C.

For those who love to get moving after work, we have Gentle Yoga with Michelle C at 5:45, or a new Body Ball and Strength class with Maria at 6pm.

All the details are on our new CLASSES page on the Healthhaus.co.uk website. Here you’ll find all the Class T&Cs, including prices, discounted Class Bundles, booking window, cancellations, waitlists and more.

Our new and improved class timetable is live! Here’s what you can expect on Wednesdays from 1 July.

Online booking system goes live tomorrow 1 July. If you want to book a space tonight, please call 614800 to make payment over the phone to secure your space.

Prices: Members £10 | Non-members £15

Class Bundles: Discounted class credits for blocks of 6 or 12 classes. (5% and 10%. Expiry dates apply)

Booking window: 14 days (from tomorrow)

Michelle’s Gentle Yoga is one of our most popular classes across all age groups. Tomorrow morning’s class may already be fully booked, but we’ve added more Gentle Yoga (and Yoga Nidra) to our timetable - more details coming soon!

9:30-10:30am with Michelle Cottiliard

NEW to Healthhaus! We’re delighted to bring you four Tai Chi classes each week with two different instructors.

Anthony kicks off our new timetable with Taiji (Tai Chi) at 10:45am for a one hour class.

Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art practiced for both self defence and its numerous health benefits.

Regular practice leads to improvements in relaxation and mental focus as well as increased strength, balance and flexibility.

It’s been a long time since we’ve had a TRX class at Healthhaus and we’re delighted to be bringing them back with instructor Jordan who’s also one of our PTs and a Milon coach.

TRX suspension training builds strength, stability and core control and challenges balance, coordination and functional strength.

Suitable for all fitness levels - come along and see what your body can do!

Last year’s Clubbercise class with Sophie for National Fitness Day was a great success so we’re so happy to have Sophie with us as a new instructor!

Thank you to Trix Eastwood .sleep.yogi and Kathy Kemp .kemp.tropic for hosting a fabulous Sleep Rituals event last night at Healthhaus.

We started by sampling the range of magnesium and lavender based products by Tropic (the So Sleepy balm is our favourite!) while Kathy shared some of the health benefits of using the products regularly.

Trix gave an insightful and entertaining talk about creating the most effective wind down routine before bed and how certain activities can help or hinder how well we sleep.

Trix also taught a short yoga and stretch based session in our Mind Body studio to teach our participants some simple movements that can be done in just a few minutes, without any knowledge of yoga and even in your bed!

Key takeaways from the talk included:

📺 TV is ok in the evenings - but choose comedy over crime!
📱 Mobile phones in the bedroom are not always bad, especially if your nervous system feels safer having it nearby (e.g. teenage drivers coming home late or elderly parents needing to get in touch). But ideally use the ‘night shift’ mode, a red-based filter and choose long form content (podcasts, meditations) over scrolling!
☀️ Morning sunlight (even on a cloudy day) for 5-15 minutes plays a huge role in your body’s natural rhythms. Better sleep starts before breakfast!
