A new basketball season is just around the corner, and it’s time to renew your JBBA Membership for 2026/27.

We’re also pleased to confirm that Wheelchair Basketball memberships are now available as part of our membership options.

Membership is required for everyone who plays, trains or volunteers with the JBBA and must be renewed before the season begins, week commencing 7 September 2026.

Your membership helps support the running of the Jersey Basketball Association (JBBA), including administration, international matches, player awards, prizes and more. Most importantly, it helps us continue building a strong and inclusive basketball community here in Jersey. ❤️🏀

Jersey Basketball Association coaches Timea Kraft and Aigars Skrivelis have completed a successful 16-week coaching programme at States of Jersey Prison Service.

Delivered on behalf of the Jersey Basketball Association (JBBA), the programme used basketball to encourage teamwork, discipline, confidence and positive engagement.

To mark the end of the programme, Timea and Aigars were presented with a special gift basketball from the residents of the Second Wing—a thoughtful gesture and a wonderful reminder of the connections formed over the past 16 weeks.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the programme such a positive experience. 🏀👏

Ready to take your game to the next level? Join Jersey Basketball Association this summer for a fun, challenging and rewarding week of basketball, led by Kristaps Valters Basketball Academy in partnership with the JBBA coaching team.

Players will work on dribbling, shooting, passing, footwork, confidence and game understanding — all in a positive, high-energy camp environment.
