We dance and teach lindy hop (aka. swing dance, jitterbug, jive). Monday nights, St Matthew’s Church Hall. It can be fast and frantic, it can be slow and groovy.

We run courses for Beginner's on Sundays, please email for details of the next course. Lindy Hop (aka jitterbug, jive or swing dance), is the dance that everyone was doing in the 1930s as jazz music swept across America. Its a partner dance, but it has its origins in street dance so it's more relaxed and fun than the formal ballroom dances. People that do lindy hop love it because there is room fo

Wow we had a super big crowd last night - lots of our regular crew and a few lovely new faces visiting and trying out Lindyhop .

It may have been hot hot hot outside but we had aircon in the hall and just our dance moves were on fire!!

We also celebrated the lovely Sophie’s birthday with a birthday jam, so much fun

Come join us next week, just a few more sessions before we break up for the summer.

Thank you to all our dancing pals in Guernsey for welcoming us last week for the St James Dance Festival. We had an absolute ball (pun intended!)
Fabulous live music, delicious cakes and lots and lots of dancing. A big gang from Jersey went for the whole weekend and a couple even popped in via rib boat for the final tea dance… great fun

Bugle boy!

Finally downloading some of the vast number of photos and videos from Liberation day.

We had so much fun performing at the main stage for and then enjoying the bands both there and into the night (thank you for an incredible set at the )

Daniel and Michelle, two of our Jersey Lindy Hop teachers ( ) loved spending time with the Year 5 pupils at Janvrin School today!

We kicked things off with a fun and fast Lindy Hop demonstration and then taught the children some Charleston moves including a little pop jump! The kids were absolutely amazing, and we had such great fun all dancing together at the end. 💃🕺

If you’d like to see more, come and join us tomorrow at Liberation Square as part of the Liberation Day festivities! 🇯🇪🎶

We’ll be teaching and dancing from 3pm, the big band will be playing, and the dance floor will be open so there’ll be plenty of chance to practice your moves or even try Lindy Hop for the very first time. We will do a performance at 4.30pm

If you’ve never given swing dancing a go before, come down, watch the performances, soak up the atmosphere, and maybe even join in! We’d love to see lots of new faces and hope to welcome many of you to classes soon.
