Michael Peterson won the latest JFAA fly fishing .atvh that took place at Simmons. Extremely hot and bright conditions weren't great but Michael managed to hold of Ross Bannerman who was the runer up. With a few fish lost by all competitors it could of gone anyway.
Well fished lads in difficult conditions

An update for anyone planning a visit to Val de la Mare reservoir tomorrow.
The top car park (La Grande Route de St Pierre entrance) will be closed tomorrow (9 June) while Infrastructure and Environment - I&E carry out drainage works in the area.
Don’t worry – you can still access the reservoir from the bottom car park (St Ouen’s side) as normal.
Thanks for your patience while Infrastructure & Environment carry out these works.

There are now 2 boats in Val de la mare and hopefully two more will be ready and deployed to the reservoirs soon.
Michael Peterson has won the latest fly fishing competition with 8 fish with Wayne 2nd and Roy Laverty 3rd it was a close run match again with only one or two fish separating the positions.
The war. Weather woukdnt of helped but has promted the fish to move further up in the water after being very deep the last few weeks.
Well done Michael Peterson
