π―πͺ A brilliant weekend for Jersey Spartan athletes.
Following Ted Chamberlainβs gold medal in the 800m at the England Athletics Championships, there were further strong performances from three more Jersey Spartans athletes, who are members of our Performance Sport Programme.
Rachel Leck set a new PB of 32.00m at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Czech Republic, winning silver and moving up to fifth in the womenβs discus F37/F38 world rankings.
At the England Athletics Championships, Bradley Andrews-Callec took silver in the U20 3,000m steeplechase, while Daniel Dubras claimed bronze in the U20 javelin with a new PB of 61.81m.
Congratulations to all four athletes on some fantastic performances. π

As a member of the Jersey Sport Performance Sport Programme, Hannah has balanced college with eight training sessions every week, earning the opportunity to represent Team Jersey on one of sport's biggest stages.
