🏇 Racing, competition and a lot of people coming together.
Champions Day at Les Landes brought the season to a close, with some great racing and a brilliant atmosphere around the course.
Sport is competitive, of course. But it’s also about the people, the community and having these days where everyone comes together to enjoy something they love.
Great to see the Jersey racing community out in force. 👏

Five different running clubs, all coming together because they love the same thing. 🏃♀️🏃♂️
This is what local sport is about.
Great to see Rock N Road Runners, Jersey Spartan Athletic Club, Jersey Run Club, Wolf Pack and EveryMile getting together and showing what a brilliant running community Jersey has. ❤️

🏃♂️ A brilliant end to the track season for Bradley Andrews-Callec.
The Performance Sport athlete and has signed off his track season with two impressive displays in London.
First, he ran a huge new 3,000m PB at the Tooting 3,000m meeting, clocking 8mins 19secs — knocking 11 seconds off his previous best.
Just days later, he was back on the track for Harrow AC in the National Athletics League Premiership, taking the steeplechase win in 8mins 59secs.
Bradley led from the gun, opened up an 80m gap and held on for the win and maximum points for Harrow.
A pretty special way to finish the track season. 👏
Well done Bradley! 💪

Are there many places in the world where you can take part in a race like this? 🌊
The inaugural Intertidal was a brilliant showcase of what makes Jersey such a unique sporting playground — taking runners from Gorey to St Aubin, across our incredible landscape.
And it wasn’t just about the race itself. The atmosphere, the crowds, the volunteers and everyone who came out to support made it a really special day.
A reminder that sport is for everyone, and on an island like ours, there are so many different ways to get involved.
A huge well done to the whole Intertidal team for putting together such a unique racing experience. Just another seriously cool race to get involved in on our beautiful island. ❤️
Jersey really is one big sporting playground.

A summer full of sport. ❤️
Over the past few months, Sport in the Community has brought a brilliant mix of activities to communities across Jersey.
Fishing, skateboarding, surfing, yoga, hockey, cricket, squash, football and table tennis are just some of the sports young people have had the chance to try.
And while the sports themselves might be very different, the idea is simple: give young people more opportunities to be active, try something new and find a sport they enjoy.
A huge thank you to all of the clubs, organisations, coaches and volunteers who have helped make the programme happen this summer.
These photos are just a small snapshot of what's been going on — but they show just how much there is out there to get involved in. 🙌
Different sports. Different communities. More opportunities for young people to find their thing.
There is still over a week left to get involved. Hit the link below and see what's on offer:
