Christoph has been part of the Island Padel community since day one and has been a familiar face on court ever since. To mark the occasion, we hosted a fun Americano tournament with friends and fellow players💚

Every Friday, for as long as we can remember, James Mathewson has been bringing people together with his fantastic Friday padel group at Island Padel 🎾👏

What started as a small gathering has grown week after week into an incredible community of players, friends, and padel enthusiasts 🙌💙

Last night, we were delighted to welcome 24 members of the group for a brilliant evening of Padel, Pizza & Pals 🍕🎾😊

Great games, great company, and plenty of laughs throughout the night. A huge thank you to James for his dedication and passion in growing such a fantastic group, and to everyone who joined us! 🔥

A great evening of padel, followed by a few beers and plenty of good company. The Padel Social is all about bringing a younger crowd into the sport and creating a fun, social community on and off the court.

‼️NEW COACH ALERT

We are so pleased to welcome Joel to the Island Padel coaching team 💙💚

Joel was first introduced to padel back in 2022, assisting at Island Padel camps and sessions. It didn’t take long before he was hooked, and since then he’s developed a genuine love for the game 🤝

He’s currently studying Sports Coaching and Development at the University of Plymouth, based at University College Jersey. Alongside his studies, Joel continues to build his coaching experience, including travelling to Barcelona earlier this year to complete his Bronze coaching qualification with Hello Padel Academy 🇪🇸

Joel enjoys staying active off the court too, spending time in the gym and working on his own fitness. He understands how this supports movement and confidence on court, and brings that awareness into his coaching in a simple, practical way💪

Most of all, Joel enjoys being on court with players. He brings a relaxed, positive energy to sessions and works with all abilities - from those picking up a racket for the first time to players looking to develop their game further. His aim is always to create sessions that feel welcoming, enjoyable and rewarding 🔥

Summer has officially arrived, and while we love the sunshine, let’s stay cool on court! 💦

We’ve installed misting sprinklers around indoor Court 2 & the outdoor courts to keep everyone refreshed at all times 🤝

Simply turn on the taps near the flower beds to get the misters going and enjoy a post-match cool-down 😎

Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water, and make the most of the sunshine on our outdoor courts! 🎾☀️

We hosted Jersey’s first LTA Seniors G1 this weekend - and what an event it was 👏

The support from the Jersey padel community all weekend was incredible. From those competing to everyone who came down to watch, the atmosphere and spirit around the event made it really special. It was amazing to see so many people supporting senior padel in Jersey 🥳

A huge thank you as well to everyone who travelled over to compete and be part of the weekend🤝
