✍️ Bartek learns that his teenage son is the perpetrator of a murder at school. As he tries to get a car to escape abroad, he grows up to confront the truth about the boy and himself as a father.

Starting tomorrow: the 79th edition of the Locarno Film Festival welcoming 7 TFL alumni and alumnae who have joined the Lab over the years. 🐆

And among them, two are featured in the Concorso Internazionale:

👉Lê Bảo with ‘Hearing’ - alumnus of FeatureLab 2017 with his debut feature TASTE and winner of the TFL Co-Production Award (€ 50.000), thanks to the support of Creative Europe - MEDIA Sub-programme of the European Union

👉Ann Oren with ‘Objet A’ - a participant of TFL Extended - Feature Film 2019 with the project PIAFFE, which also premiered at 2022 Locarno Film Festival.

There’s more! Locarno has also selected 4 TFL talents to join this year’s juries, including Marco Alessi (FeatureLab 2022 & Green Film Lab 2022) on the Concorso Internazionale Jury. 📸

Big big news from SSIFF | Festival de San Sebastián!

Two new TFL premieres have been added to this year’s festival lineup: SAINTS, a 2024 ScriptLab project and ERRATICS, a TFL Co-Production Fund 2023 winner (€50,000).

✍️Dr. Novak, an ostracised Croatian neuroscientist, is drawn out of hiding in Athens by an activist group of idealistic young scientists fascinated by his previously discredited theories about electromagnetic pollution. As egos swell and actions take momentum, the community they form starts to unravel. Teetering between brilliance and delusion Dr. Novak becomes a 21st-century Don Quixote, chasing a breakthrough that could change the world—or destroy him.
