ANNA UNA CERTEZZA, LORE ANCORA TOP10, PODIO FINALE PER LA SQUADRA!
La Tramun, a Girona ha messo la parola fine ad un'altra stagione di Coppa del mondo, un altro anno si chiude, un altro anno da protagonisti!
I ragazzi di Patron mauro hanno fatto un lavoro eccellente anche quest’anno, soprattutto quest’anno.
Una su tutti la Svizzera Anna Weinbeer, la vera e propria stella nascente del XCM, l’unica atleta ad inanellare Le Grand Chelem:
- Coppa del Mondo
- Campionato del Mondo
- Campionato Europeo
- Campionato Nazionale.
Ha vinto tutto quello che c’era da vincere, sempre con il sorriso.
Anche a Girona Anna ha vinto, vittoria di testa e di gestione.
Sul tecnicissimo percorso spagnolo, la svizzera ha lasciato sfogare la tricolore Peretti, salvo poi riprenderla a metà gara e distanziarla sulle ultime asperità. All’arrivo è ancora la croce bianca su campo rosso a sventolare più in alto di tutte!
Ma non solo Anna a stupire è stata anche la stagione di Lorenzo, che ha portato a case nelle ultime due gare una top10 ai Campionati del Mondo Marathon ed una settima piazza nel Gran Finale di Coppa del Mondo, dopo aver corso sempre davanti da protagonista.
Allo start maschile i SampaBros sono subito davanti, con anche Nico che sembra avere la pedalata dei giorni migliori nonostante i mesi difficili passati. Sul primo GPM passano in 13 con sia Nicolas che Lorenzo davanti. La prima discesa fa però le prime vittime Nico taglia ed è costretto ad alzare bandiera bianca. Davanti rimangono in 10 con Lorenzo a dettare il ritmo. Sulle salite più lunghe il tiranese classe ’93 mette in crisi quasi tutti i migliori salvo poi doversi piegare al loro ritorno nei tratti più da cross-countristi, con strappi ripidi e continui. Al traguardo sarà settimo, risultato che gli permette di agguantare la Top10 nella classifica finale e risultato che, sommato a quelli di tutto il team porta il KTM SPADA Powered by BRENTA BRAKES ad essere il TERZO TEAM nella speciale classifica di coppa del Mondo.
Le KTM Scarp nero azzurre del sodalizio Abduano hanno infatti chiuso sul podio costruttori in tutte le prove, portandosi a casa il premi di migliori nella tappa inaugurale di Calpe ed in quella teutonica di Kirchkarten, non a caso le due tappe dove anche Nicolas ha potuto esprimersi al meglio.

- Il percorso non era nelle mie corde, troppi strappi e poche salite lunghe, ma quando uno sta bene sta bene ovunque. Peccato per la Top5 non lontana ma mi godo il settimo posto e la TOP10 assoluta.
Nicolas Samparisi
- Quest’anno purtroppo va così.. non se ne infila una giusta. Ma tornerò ai miei livelli e mi rifarò!
Ora una settimana di pausa per preparare le ultime due gare HC francesi, in 5 giorni sarà Extreme su Lour e Roc d’Azur!

ANNA A SURE THING, LORE STILL TOP 10, FINAL PODIUM FOR THE TEAM!
The Tramun race in Girona marked the end of another World Cup season—another year wrapped up, another year spent at the forefront of the sport!
Team owner Mauro’s squad did an excellent job again this year—especially this year.
Leading the way was Switzerland’s Anna Weinbeer, a true rising star in XCM and the only athlete to achieve the "Grand Slam":
- World Cup
- World Championship
- European Championship
- National Championship.
She won everything there was to win, always with a smile.
Anna won in Girona, too—a victory defined by smart tactics and race management.
On the highly technical Spanish course, the Swiss rider let the Italian champion, Peretti, push the pace early on, only to reel her in mid-race and pull away on the final tough climbs. At the finish line, it was the white cross on a red background flying highest of all!
But Anna wasn't the only one to impress; Lorenzo also had a remarkable season, bringing home a top-10 finish at the Marathon World Championships and seventh place in the World Cup Grand Finale—all while consistently racing at the front of the pack.
At the men's start, the "SampaBros" were immediately up front; Nico, in particular, seemed to have the legs of his best days, despite the difficult months he had endured. A group of 13 riders crested the first major climb together, with both Nicolas and Lorenzo at the front. However, the first descent took its toll: Nico suffered a puncture and was forced to throw in the towel. A lead group of 10 remained, with Lorenzo setting the pace. On the longer climbs, the rider from Tirano (born in 1993) put most of the top contenders in difficulty, though he eventually had to yield when they fought back on sections better suited to cross-country specialists—featuring steep, punchy, and continuous climbs. He crossed the finish line in seventh place—a result that secured him a spot in the overall Top 10. Combined with the team's other performances, this result propelled KTM SPADA Powered by BRENTA BRAKES to third place in the special World Cup team standings.
The black-and-blue KTM Scarp bikes of the Abduano-led squad reached the constructors' podium in every round, taking top honors at the season opener in Calpe and the German round in Kirchkarten—fittingly, the two events where Nicolas also delivered his best performances.

- It’s incredible—this whole season has been incredible. I’m absolutely thrilled.

- The course didn't really suit my style—too many short, punchy climbs and not enough long ascents—but when you're in good form, you perform well anywhere. It’s a shame to miss the Top 5 by such a narrow margin, but I’m happy with seventh place and a spot in the overall Top 10.
Nicolas Samparisi
- That’s just how things are going this year... nothing seems to be going right. But I’ll get back to my usual level and make up for it!
Now, a one-week break to prepare for the final two French HC races: a grueling five-day stretch featuring the Extreme-sur-Lour and the Roc d’Azur!
