Do you remember what this Greg LeMond looked like a few weeks ago? After an accident, the down tube was bent and the fork had been pushed quite far back.
Well, look at it now: we managed to repair it, realigning the tube, the frame and the fork.
The work isn’t completely finished yet, but we’re well on our way.
Many collectors restore old frames to put them on display. Not this one. This Greg LeMond is going back on the road.

Sabato 19 settembre saremo ad Argenta per la nona edizione della FAR Gravel: una giornata di strade bianche, paesaggi d’acqua e ciclismo da vivere insieme.

All’interno della manifestazione si svolgerà anche il Master dell’Eccellenza della Bicicletta, il concorso che riunisce alcune delle più belle biciclette artigianali italiane. A scegliere la vincitrice saranno gli stessi partecipanti.

E, come lo scorso anno, abbiamo deciso di offrire l’iscrizione a tutti coloro che parteciperanno pedalando su una bicicletta Daccordi.

How far can bicycle customization go?
This is a carbon fork, and we’re painting it for a very special project, with a decoration that is certainly not something you see every day on a bicycle.

Purple, gold and the Sacred Heart: a deeply personal choice, created for the person who will ride it. Because sometimes customization isn’t about choosing a colour from a catalogue.
It’s about making a bicycle truly yours.

È una bici costruita intorno a una persona precisa.

Questo Noah bianco perla e oro è nato così: non da una taglia, ma da un progetto.

Form should never be just an exercise in styling.

On a bicycle, every line should have a reason: the rider’s position, handling, wheel clearance, aerodynamics, weight distribution.

Then comes design.

And perhaps that is the hardest part: making engineering and aesthetics look as though they were always meant to be one and the same.

Some bikes begin with a set of measurements, a color, or a technical choice.

And then there are bikes that are meant to tell a story.

This Stradiva is for Marco, one of the organizers of L’Intrepida, the historic cycling event that takes place every October in Anghiari and that we’ve always been especially fond of.

Marco wanted his bike to evoke L’Intrepida, but without turning it into an overly obvious commemorative design.

A subtle reference. Something almost personal.

So we started working on a small detail: the L’Intrepida logo enclosed inside a heart.

The first attempt, however, didn’t completely convince us.

And perhaps that is one of the most beautiful things about craftsmanship: when something doesn’t feel quite right, you start again.

In the video, we show you the frame almost finished, a few details from the painting process, and the work we’re doing on the fork.

The final result will come soon.

And if you’ve never been to Anghiari for L’Intrepida, put it on your list. It’s absolutely worth it.

Ci sono bici che nascono per sembrare aggressive.

E poi ci sono bici che scelgono un’altra strada: eleganza, proporzione, pulizia, dettagli.

Questo Noah bianco perla e oro è una bici da corsa, ma non cerca di sembrare cattiva a tutti i costi.

È veloce, è tecnica, è su misura.
Ma soprattutto ha una sua identità.

Per noi una bici artigianale deve fare anche questo: assomigliare alla persona per cui è stata costruita.

Il bello dell’acciaio è che può essere romantico senza diventare vecchio. Qui il Pervinca, le grafiche nere, i dettagli Columbus e la costruzione su misura creano una bici da corsa con un carattere molto preciso: retrò garage, ma pronta a pedalare oggi.

Champions have not always followed the standard.

Ullrich raced with an extremely narrow Q-factor. Indurain changed crank length during the season. Sean Kelly kept using toe clips and straps when almost the entire peloton had already switched to clipless pedals.

Very different choices, but with one thing in common: they knew what worked for them and did not simply follow everyone else.
