Parigi, stiamo arrivando. 🇮🇹🇫🇷

**Ci sono gemellaggi che restano sulla carta. E poi ci sono quelli che diventano famiglia.**

Due anni fa il **Subbuteo Club Reggio Calabria** e l'**Evia CCN** di Calcide hanno deciso di unire i loro percorsi. Oggi possiamo dire con orgoglio che quel gemellaggio è diventato qualcosa di molto più grande: un legame fatto di amicizia sincera, rispetto, condivisione e passione.

Forse non è stato il caso a far incontrare le nostre strade.

Più di 2.700 anni fa furono proprio i coloni di **Calcide**, insieme ai Messeni, a fondare **Rhegion**, l'antica Reggio Calabria. È come se la storia avesse aspettato secoli per riportare idealmente a casa due comunità che hanno sempre condiviso le stesse radici.

In questi due anni abbiamo avuto la fortuna di conoscere persone straordinarie e di costruire un rapporto speciale con il nostro carissimo amico **Michail Chanos @Μιχαήλ Χάνος**, che con entusiasmo, disponibilità e autentico spirito sportivo ha trasformato un semplice gemellaggio in una vera fratellanza.

Lo scorso anno abbiamo avuto l'onore di vedere il giovane **Ektoras Bartzis** indossare la nostra maglia. Oggi questa storia continua e si rafforza con l'arrivo di due campioni che hanno scelto di condividere il nostro progetto: **Giannis Nikolaidis** ed **Eugenios Plytas**.

Non sono soltanto due grandi giocatori.

Sono il simbolo di un ponte che attraversa il Mar Ionio, unisce due città, due popoli e una storia iniziata quasi tre millenni fa.

Perché lo sport sa fare ciò che spesso la distanza non riesce a impedire: creare amicizie vere, abbattere confini e far sentire vicine persone che, in fondo, non hanno mai smesso di appartenere alla stessa grande famiglia.

E grazie di cuore a Michail e a tutti gli amici dell'**Evia CCN**. In questi due anni ci avete ricordato che le radici non sono soltanto qualcosa che appartiene al passato: sono ciò che continua a farci crescere insieme, guardando al futuro.

**Some twinning arrangements remain merely on paper. Then there are those that become like family.**

Two years ago, the **Subbuteo Club Reggio Calabria** and **Evia CCN** from Chalkis decided to join forces. Today we can proudly say that this twinning has become something much greater: a bond built on sincere friendship, respect, shared values and passion.

Perhaps it wasn’t just chance that brought us together.

More than 2,700 years ago, it was the settlers from **Chalkis**, together with the Messenians, who founded **Rhegion**, ancient Reggio Calabria. It is as though history had waited centuries to bring two communities – which have always shared the same roots – back home, so to speak.

Over the past two years, we have been fortunate enough to meet extraordinary people and to build a special relationship with our dear friend **Michail Chanos Μιχαήλ Χάνος**, who, with enthusiasm, generosity and a genuine sporting spirit, has transformed a simple twinning arrangement into a true brotherhood.

Last year, we had the honour of seeing the young **Ektoras Bartzis** wear our shirt. Today, this story continues and is strengthened by the arrival of two champions who have chosen to be part of our project: **Giannis Nikolaidis** and **Eugenios Plytas**.

They are not just two great players.

They symbolise a bridge spanning the Ionian Sea, uniting two cities, two peoples and a history that began almost three millennia ago.

Because sport can achieve what distance often fails to prevent: forging true friendships, breaking down barriers and bringing together people who, deep down, have never ceased to belong to the same great family.

Welcome to Reggio, Giannis and Eugenios.

And a heartfelt thank you to Michail and all our friends at **Evia CCN**. Over the past two years, you have reminded us that our roots are not just something that belongs to the past: they are what continue to help us grow together, looking towards the future.

Il Subbuteo Club Reggio Calabria mette a segno un colpo di assoluto prestigio e dà il benvenuto a Eugenios Plytas, atleta di caratura internazionale che nella prossima stagione vestirà la maglia amaranto.
Tra i più autorevoli interpreti del calcio da tavolo greco, Plytas arriva dal Piraeus Lions dopo una carriera costruita ai massimi livelli del circuito FISTF, dove ha saputo distinguersi per talento, esperienza e straordinaria continuità di rendimento.
Il suo curriculum parla da solo. Oltre ai numerosi impegni internazionali con i colori della Grecia, Eugenios ha lasciato il segno anche nel campionato italiano, indossando le maglie del CCT Roma e della SPQR Roma, confrontandosi con i migliori protagonisti della disciplina e confermandosi, stagione dopo stagione, un atleta affidabile, competitivo e di grande spessore tecnico.
Il suo approdo a Reggio Calabria rappresenta molto più di un importante rinforzo: è la scelta di un giocatore che ha deciso di sposare il nostro progetto, mettendo la propria esperienza e la propria mentalità vincente al servizio della squadra. Siamo certi che le sue qualità, unite ai valori umani che lo contraddistinguono, contribuiranno a rendere ancora più competitivo il nostro gruppo.

The Subbuteo Club Reggio Calabria has pulled off a major coup and welcomes Eugenios Plytas, an international-calibre player who will be wearing the maroon shirt next season.
One of the leading figures in Greek table football, Plytas joins us from the Piraeus Lions following a career built at the very highest levels of the FISTF circuit, where he has distinguished himself through his talent, experience and extraordinary consistency.
