Sound Boy Football Academy is a young academy in Baddibou Kerewan doing something truly inspiring. Despite having limited resources, these young boys go to people’s farms to work and earn money. Alhamdulillah, they recently used their hard-earned money to buy football materials for their academy. 🙏🏾⚽️

Beyond football, they also take part in many community activities voluntarily, giving their time and energy to help their community without expecting anything in return. 🤝🏾❤️

This is more than an academy ,it is young people building themselves and giving back to their community.

Anyone who would like to support Sound Boy FA with football equipment, financial assistance, or any other form of support, please come forward. Every contribution can make a difference. 🙏🏾

Why would I wait until a young player signs a big contract before I start believing in him?

I don’t need a big club, a big contract, or a famous name to convince me that a player has quality. When I see talent, mentality, discipline, and potential, I back that player from the beginning.

Anybody can promote a player when the world already knows his name. My job is to recognize the talent before the recognition comes.

I will continue to give young players a platform, promote their qualities, and push their names while they are still fighting for their opportunity.

I don’t wait for stars to be made. I identify them early and help put them on the map.

Tragic Passing of Modou Saidy “Kanteh”

Modou Saidy “Kanteh” had travelled from The Gambia to Masara in Casamance, Senegal, where many Gambian footballers play during the off season.

Saidy featured throughout the first half and continued into the early minutes of the second half before suddenly collapsing on the pitch.

According to reports from the scene, he inhaled soil during the incident and was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical attention. Sadly, he was later pronounced dead.

The news has sent shockwaves through the football community, leaving his teammates, friends, family and fellow Gambian players in deep sorrow.
May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, have mercy on his soul and grant him Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah give his family and loved ones the strength and patience to bear this immense loss.
