Step Two of the maintenance series:
The work behind every boat ready to return to the sea ⛵

Once the boat is placed on its supports, the maintenance process begins: the team is divided into different tasks, such as polishing the hull sides.
The topsides are treated with professional machines and compounds to remove fender marks and sun damage, bringing the boat back to an almost like-new condition.

Una volta messa in sella, l’imbarcazione entra nel vivo della lavorazione: il team si divide in più fasi, come la lucidatura delle murate.
L’opera morta viene trattata con macchinari e paste specifiche per eliminare segni di parabordi e opacizzazioni causate dal sole, riportando la barca quasi allo stato originale.

When the summer season comes to an end, a new journey begins for us. ❄️

Daniele, our base manager, walks us through the first essential step of winter maintenance that Boomerang Charter carries out every single year, without exception.

🔧 The haul-out is when the boat is lifted out of the water and taken to the shipyard, where it is cleaned, polished, and carefully checked on the outside — getting it ready to return like new for the next season.

Yes… even in winter, there’s no rest here 😉

Con la fine della stagione estiva, per noi inizia un altro viaggio. ❄️☃️

Daniele, il nostro capo base, ci racconta il primo step fondamentale del mantenimento invernale che Boomerang Charter porta avanti ogni anno, senza eccezioni.

🔧 L’alaggio è il momento in cui la barca viene tirata fuori dall’acqua e portata in cantiere:
pulizia, lucidatura e controlli esterni per prepararla a tornare come nuova nella prossima stagione.

Eh sì… qui neanche d’inverno ci si riposa 😉
