Tra i filari c'è un lavoro che spesso passa inosservato, ma che è fondamentale per proteggere la vigna. Giacomo, insieme a Lorenzo, è al lavoro per installare le reti di protezione contro i cinghiali, un intervento necessario per salvaguardare le piante e i grappoli nella fase che precede la maturazione. I nostri vignerons conoscono ogni centimetro di questo territorio, sanno cosa fare e come farlo per accompagnare la vite verso la vendemmia nelle migliori condizioni possibili.

Protecting the vineyard is part of the work that happens long before harvest. Together with Lorenzo, Giacomo is installing protective netting against wild boars, a necessary measure to safeguard the vines and grape clusters as they approach ripening. Our vignerons know every centimeter of this land. They know exactly what to do and how to do it to help the vines reach harvest in the best possible conditions.

Inizia la vendemmia dei rossi! 🍇

Dalla vigna I Tralicci alla cantina, il Sangiovese comincia la sua trasformazione.

Durante la fermentazione tumultuosa, il rimontaggio è un passaggio fondamentale: il mosto viene fatto circolare e riportato sulla superficie, bagnando le bucce che galleggiano e favorendo l’estrazione di colore, profumi e struttura.

È uno dei momenti più vivi della vinificazione: il vino prende forma...

During active fermentation, remontage is a fundamental step: the must is circulated and brought back to the surface, wetting the grape skins that float on top and helping extract colour, aromas and structure.

La vendemmia del Sangiovese è iniziata!

In questi giorni stiamo raccogliendo le uve che daranno vita al nostro rosato e allo spumante, l'Albeggio e il 7794. Due interpretazioni diverse dello stesso vitigno, che partono dalla vigna e richiedono scelte precise già durante la raccolta. Per entrambi, il momento della vendemmia è fondamentale per preservare la freschezza e l'equilibrio che vogliamo ritrovare nel bicchiere.

Dalla raccolta alla cantina, il lavoro sulla nuova annata è appena cominciato 🍷

The Sangiovese harvest has begun!

These days, we are harvesting the grapes that will become our rosé and sparkling w**e, Albeggio and 7794. Two different expressions of the same grape variety, both starting in the vineyard and requiring precise choices from the very beginning of the harvest. For both w**es, timing the harvest is essential to preserve the freshness and balance we want to find in the glass.

☀️ Buon Ferragosto da Tenuta San Vito! 🥂

Il 7 agosto abbiamo vendemmiato il nostro Chardonnay, ! Oggi, nel tino, il mosto ha già iniziato a fermentare: il colore paglierino, la schiuma viva e quell’energia che si vede nel bicchiere raccontano l’inizio di un nuovo viaggio.

Mentre l’estate è nel suo pieno, in cantina il 2026 prende vita. 🍇

A Ferragosto brindiamo a ciò che nasce, al lavoro della terra e alle cose belle che hanno ancora tutto il tempo per diventare grandi.

On August 7th, we harvested our Chardonnay, Amantiglio! Today, in the vat, the must has already begun to ferment: the straw-yellow colour, the lively foam and that energy you can see in the glass all tell the story of the beginning of a new journey.

While summer is in full swing, the 2026 vintage is coming to life in our cellar. 🍇

On Ferragosto, we raise a glass to what is just beginning, to the work of the land, and to the beautiful things that still have all the time they need to grow into something great.
