È tutto pronto per la grande sfida!
Gli equipaggi che hanno superato le fasi di qualificazione sono pronti a lasciare Genova per affrontare il Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour Veloce, la regata più lunga del Mediterraneo.
1.500 miglia no-stop lungo le coste i fari del Paese, in una sfida che metterà alla prova la preparazione atletica, la strategia e soprattutto l’affiatamento di ogni equipaggio.
Le imbarcazioni hanno appena lasciato la banchina del GALATA Museo del Mare per raggiungere il campo di regata.
Partenza prevista alle ore 14:00.
Da quel momento, ogni miglio sarà una nuova sfida.

Everything is ready for the great challenge!
The crews who have successfully completed the qualification stages are ready to leave Genoa and take on the Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour Veloce, the longest offshore sailing race in the Mediterranean.
1,500 miles non-stop along the Italian coastline and past the country’s iconic lighthouses, in a challenge that will test the physical preparation, strategy and, above all, the teamwork of every crew.
The boats have just left the dock at the GALATA Museo del Mare to head out to the race course.
Start scheduled for 2:00 PM. From that moment on, every mile will be a new challenge.

The Academy EMOEC – European Mixed Offshore European Championship has come to an end with a spectacular 300-mile return race, also valid as the 7th European Mixed Offshore Championship.
An exciting race that started in strong winds and was fought right down to the final mile.
The crews battled fiercely throughout the entire course, with only a few minutes separating the top finishers:
🥇 1st – Team N2Sailing – GER – Olbrich Freya · Piendl Paul
🥈 2nd – Team Poland – PL – Julia Oleksiuk · Maciek Lato - ⏱️ +9 minutes
🥉 3rd – Team Baccarat – GB – Abby Hire · Oliver Baddeley - ⏱️ +4 minutes
The numbers tell the story better than words: just 9 minutes separated first and second place, and only 4 minutes separated second and third.
This is the strength of offshore one-design racing: with identical boats, it is the crews, their strategy and their ability to read the sea that truly make the difference.
A spectacular racing format that once again confirms the sporting value of the events organised by the Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour.

A Genova dal 18 settembre oltre 20 team internazionali saranno protagonisti delle regate di qualificazione per conquistare un posto sulla linea di partenza del Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Veloce 2026.
Dal 25 settembre, la grande sfida: oltre 1.500 miglia no-stop da Genova a Trieste, in una delle regate offshore più lunghe e affascinanti del Mediterraneo con arrivo in Barcolana.
Ma Il Veloce non è solo competizione.
Dal 18 al 25 settembre, al GALATA Museo del Mare – Calata Ansaldo De Mari, il Race Village del Marina Militare Nastro Rosa sarà aperto al pubblico con attività, esperienze e appuntamenti dedicati alla vela, al mare e alla cultura nautica.

La prima edizione della Marina Militare Nastro Rosa ACADEMY ha raccolto velisti provenienti da 14 nazioni, che si sono confrontati su tematiche diverse: dal routing alla sicurezza, dalla costruzione e riparazione delle vele, sia a terra sia in regata, alla dieta pre-regata e durante la competizione, fino alla pianificazione di una corretta nutrizione finalizzata al raggiungimento della migliore performance. Ampio spazio è stato inoltre dedicato alla strategia e alla tattica di regata, alla meteorologia e alla gestione degli aspetti legati alla sponsorizzazione.
Le prove pratiche, iniziate a Genova, hanno compreso anche una lunga navigazione da Genova a La Maddalena. Nelle acque dello Yacht Club La Maddalena si sono svolti altri tre giorni di allenamenti e valutazioni tecniche, supportati da condizioni meteorologiche a dir poco eccellenti.
Navigare intorno alle isole offre incredibili spunti tecnici e rappresenta un’opportunità unica per affinare e migliorare tutti i propri skill.
Le attività dell’Academy si concluderanno con la regata EMOEC 2026 che, in collaborazione con EUROSAF, assegnerà anche il titolo di Campione Europeo Offshore nel Doppio Misto.
Alle Academy, organizzate da Marina Militare, Difesa Servizi e SSI, in collaborazione con lo Yacht Club La Maddalena, hanno collaborato in primis la Base della Marina Militare di La Maddalena e la Sezione Sport Velico della Marina Militare, oltre al RORC e allo Yacht Club Italiano.
L’arrivo a Genova e la conclusione della MMNR ACADEMY EMOEC 2026 sono previsti per la serata del 12 settembre

The first edition of the MMNR ACADEMY brought together sailors from 14 different nations, who explored a wide range of topics: from routing to safety, from sail construction and repair — both ashore and during racing — to pre-race and in-race nutrition, including the planning of a proper nutritional strategy aimed at achieving peak performance. Considerable attention was also devoted to race strategy and tactics, meteorology, and the management of sponsorship-related matters.
The practical sessions, which began in Genoa, also included a long passage from Genoa to La Maddalena. In the waters off the Yacht Club La Maddalena, three further days of training and technical assessments took place, supported by truly outstanding weather conditions.
Sailing around the islands provides incredible technical opportunities and represents a unique chance to refine and improve all of one’s skills.
The Academy’s activities will conclude with the EMOEC 2026 regatta which, in collaboration with EUROSAF, will also award the title of European Offshore Champion in the Mixed Double-Handed category.
The Academies, organised by MM, Difesa Servizi and SSI, in collaboration with the Yacht Club La Maddalena, were supported first and foremost by the La Maddalena Naval Base and the Italian Navy Sailing Sports Section, as well as by the RORC and the Yacht Club Italiano.
The arrival in Genoa and the conclusion of the MMNR ACADEMY EMOEC 2026 are scheduled for the evening of 12 September

Terminata la selezione degli equipaggi che si preparano ad affrontare il ritorno verso Genova, una sfida che assume un significato ancora più importante perché valida anche come Academy EMOEC 2026.
