Luka Dončić, drafted third overall by the Atlanta Hawks in 2018 and immediately traded to the Dallas Mavericks, exploded onto the NBA scene by winning Rookie of the Year in 2019 and establishing himself as a perennial superstar with six All-Star selections and six All-NBA First Team honors by age 27.

During his seven seasons in Dallas, he led the league in scoring in 2023-24 (33.9 ppg), earned Western Conference Finals MVP that year while guiding the Mavericks to the NBA Finals (where they fell to the Celtics), and averaged elite triple-double-threat production before a mid-2024-25 blockbuster trade sent him to the Los Angeles Lakers.

In his first full season with the Lakers in 2025-26, Dončić claimed his second scoring title at 33.5 points per game while adding 7.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists, continuing to post career averages of 29.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 8.2 assists across more than 500 games as one of the most dominant offensive forces in the league.
