Mia Zanki 🇦🇹 joins the Lenovo Kalì Kart Team 🤝

The young Austrian driver joins the Lenovo squad in the OK-NJ category, taking on a new chapter in her international karting career 🏁

Born in Vienna on 4 June 2013, Mia started racing at the age of nine. After progressing quickly through the Mini category, she stepped up to Juniors at just 11, continuing her development in an increasingly competitive international environment.

Her young career already includes several strong results, including the 2026 ROK Austria Championship title, a leading position in the 2026 Rotax Max Austria Challenge, three Rotax Austria Vice Championship titles and 3rd place in the 2025 FIA CEZ Championship. She also competed in the 2025 ROK Superfinal in Lonato.

In 2026, Mia has taken another important step by competing internationally with the support of Discover Your Drive / F1 Academy in the Champions of the Future Academy, gaining valuable experience at the highest level of junior karting.

Now, she joins Lenovo Kalì Kart to continue her growth in the OK-NJ category, surrounded by a team and partners who believe in her potential and ambition.

Speaking about her new partnership with Lenovo Kalì Kart, Mia said:

“I’m really happy and proud to start this collaboration with Lenovo KaliKart. It means a lot to have a partner who believes in me and supports me on my way as a young racing driver. I’m very excited to represent Lenovo KaliKart and to work together towards our goals. I’m looking forward to achieving great things together and to continuing my journey in motorsport.”

Another positive weekend for the Lenovo Kali Kart team at the WSK Final in Franciacorta, although Sunday’s Finals delivered less than what our pace deserved 🏁

The speed was there across all categories. In MINI, Mateo Garcia, Julian Van De Coterlet and Tariq Soofi all made it through to the Final. In OK, Mark Loomets put together a very strong weekend in OK-Junior, while Davide Bottaro showed his usual strong pace in OK-Senior.

Alex Mrozik also bounced back strongly on Sunday, finding his speed again after a difficult run through the Heats. He was back among the fastest drivers in OKN, securing a well-deserved top-ten finish 🙌

Unfortunately Sunday’s Finals did not go our way. An incident ruled Garcia and Soofi out of the MINI Final, while Loomets suffered the same fate in OK-Junior. In OK-Senior, Bottaro was unable to find the pace needed to fight for the podium.

Among the other highlights of the weekend, Radek Czernicki delivered a positive performance in MINI U10, finishing P18 in a highly competitive field of 54 drivers. Joaquim Fronza was less fortunate in the same category, with two incidents during the Heats compromising his weekend.

Saturday at Franciacorta is done with the Heat action wrapped up. A solid day with plenty of strong performances and promising pace, giving us good confidence heading into the final day 💪

🇲🇽 Mateo García leads the way in MINI, finishing the Heats as our best-placed driver and securing P4 for Pre-Final A. Julian Van de Coterlet and Tariq Soofi also showed strong pace throughout today’s races.

A very positive day for 🇪🇪 Mark Loomets in OKJ, who will line up P8 for tomorrow’s Pre-Final A. Unfortunately, it was a very tough day for Julian Rivera.

Davide Bottaro’s P15 overall is largely down to his retirement in the opening heat, combined with a few set-up choices that didn’t quite work as planned. But tomorrow is a new day. The target is clear: the podium.

It was a day of ups and downs for our MINI U10 drivers, while bad luck made it a day to forget for 🇵🇱 Alex Mrozik in OKN. But tomorrow is a new day — time to reset, regroup and fight our way back to the front. 🔥
