A 217.5 in the first go of the 2026 NRHA Non Pro Derby put Manuele Bonzano and Smoking Zedd straight into the L4 Non Pro finals. Showing a 6YO gelding his family raised, Manuele represents a new generation of European competitors willing to put in the work and take their shot on one of the sport’s biggest stages.

The Bonzano family and 23 Partnership have always stood for hard work, integrity, and a deep commitment to the horse.

From Italy to Oklahoma City, this is what years of dedication look like.
