Amma's heart is heavy on hearing of the devastation in Nepal. In moments such as this, words feel small before the scale of loss, and the courage of those working tirelessly to rescue and rebuild.

Nature has always been our mother too, even when she moves in ways that bring us such pain. In her wake, she asks only that we hold each other closer. Let us open our hearts in prayer for every person who has lost a family member, a home, a sense of safety. And let us support in whatever way we are able, for service, too, is a form of prayer.

May the wounded be healed, the missing be found, and the grieving be comforted. May Nepal's strength and unity carry her people through this darkness, towards the light of hope once more.
