Opti Europeans 2015 Team Finland

Day 3 was again very long... varying winds and lots of waiting. Stage 2 was completed with full round robin series. Team Finland has 3 wins out of 7 races today.

All teams are waiting for wind in Italy. Racing has been postponed at least 3 hours.
The race schedule has been posted (sorry about the quality of the picture). Team Finland was seeded number 2 in league B. In the first stage we will meet ISR, FRA, NED, SLO, GBR, TUR and CRO.

It is 5am with a chilly 9C temperature outside :) Team Finland is boarding a flight to the European Optimist Team Race Championship.
The event takes place at the beautiful Lago di Ledro, Italy. Stay tuned for updates from the championship.

Team Finland is safely back home and today even the Pennys that Manchester Airport Security confiscated and told that they destroyed arrived to Finland !

We are still waiting for Manchester Airport and BA to reply to our e-mails (they never answer the phone)... The sailors have traveled for years all over the world with their Pennys in the hand luggage without any trouble, except for Manchester...
