Base1 Sardinia Diving Logistics and Diver Training Facility located in Cala Gonone, Sardinia.

Base1 organises dive training involving qualified Instructors who belong to multiple agencies. We arrange and deliver classes and training that are of the highest level of excellence and professionalism. GUE Training programs are available at all levels: Rec, Cave, Tech and Instructor Development. Base1 provides diving logistics, rental SUEX DPVs and Sinapsi systems, plus the knowledge and experience to offer our customers the ideal set up for their personal needs, be it in the sport, scientific or professional arena. Lastly, we are proud of the newly refurbished dive base, which utilizes top end Bauer compressors, MPS booster pump and a new rib arranged to comfortably host diving gear.

Bue Marino Ecosystem Characterization & Tidal Influence Research

Phreatic’s ongoing project in the Bue Marino Cave System documents biodiversity, maps species distribution, and studies how tidal forces influence this anchialine environment — including temperature fluctuations of nearly 3°C every six hours and a freshwater intrusion beyond the North Branch restriction.
